Dr. Kumiko Yokota

Hailing from Australia, Dr. Kumiko Yokota graduated from the University of Queensland with Honours and is registered with the Dental Board of Australia. With a meticulous but gentle touch, she understands that coming to the dentist can be a daunting experience and puts patient comfort first.

Dr. Kumiko has an interest in family and cosmetic dentistry, as well as orthodontics having pursued further post-graduate diploma studies in this field. She frequently attends courses to keep up to date with the latest developments in dentistry to provide the best service for her patients.

Passionate about giving back to the community, Dr. Kumiko has been regularly volunteering to provide free dental services for the homeless and refugees in Australia since 2017. She also has an interest in dental anxiety which culminated in her leading and publishing a research paper on dental anxiety in homeless Australians.

With a half Japanese and half Chinese background, Dr. Kumiko is an avid foodie with a sweet tooth, has a love for travel and enjoys spending time with her loved ones in her downtime.
